Shahrukh prepping up for Ra.OneComputer Graphics and Six Packs
After playing meek characters in 'My Name is Khan' and' Rab ne Bana di Jodi', Shahrukh Khan is back to kicking posterior in his new film Ra.One (sometimes referred to as Ra1). There were rumours that Ra1 would be entirely made in English, but King Khan has confirmed that the film would indeed be in Hindi as he didn't want to compete with Superman and Spiderman. International pop star Akon will lend his voice for the soundtrack of Ra1, reportedly he even has a bit role in the film. Kareena Kapoor has been roped in to star in the film as the lead. Shahrukh will regain his six packs for hsi role in Ra1. "SRK is on a strict diet for the film because he wants to get into a killer shape before he begins shooting for Ra1." a source said. Ra1 is slated to be a hi-tech-sci-fi-action-adventure-superhero flick and will be directed by Anubhav Sinha (Tum Bin, Cash and Aap ko Pehle Bhi Kahin Dekha Hai ). The film is to be produced by SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment and Shahrukh has taken on scripting duties for the film as well. In case you didn't already know, 'Ra.1' will be a CGI heavy film, with majority of the footage shot against green screens. The project was earlier supposed to go into production in Mumbai itself but Shahrukh wanted a high quality Hollywood set in order to create a technically advanced film. To ease out the logistics, SRK's buddy Karan Johar helped out with the Miami change as he arranged for all the necessary meetings for the actor and his production team with officials from Miami. Shahrukh had earlier tweeted regarding 'Ra.One'. As per his tweet, 'ra.one is short form for random access version one. reads like it is written. RAONE. its a movie about gaming and superheroes and bad guys.' SRK also dismissed rumours regarding Aishwarya Rai being a part of the film. 'no aish is not in the film. the final cast will be announced soon ...waiting for just some last bit of casting. yes it does read as in ravan' he tweeted. Both 'Don 2' and 'Ra.One' are expected to release on 2011. February 24, 2010
